News: eastsierra.net is moving uptown to 2775 Boulder Drive, near the Post Office in June Lake. The store offers our internet services as well as graphical assistance and products including a "One-Hour" type photofinishing service. There will also be a gallery/gift section. Now open for basic services.

Here are a few photos taken during the summer...This is a high alpine lake called Davis Lake, a mile or so west of the John Muir/Pacific Crest trail in the upper Rush Creek Basin area of the sierra. |

Fishing is a favorite activity, with a season that extends from late April through October. Ethan Lee caught this beauty on Rush Creek with a silver Kastmaster. Fishing in the eastern sierra has been fabulous this season so far. |
| On your travels along Highway 395, stop by and visit the Mt. Whitney Fish Hatchery, just north of Independence. It's a lovely place to bring your picnic lunch, and there are lots of hungr y trout in the pond that you may feed and enjoy watching. | ![]() |
